Xich Lo Restaurant in Hamburg

A delicious Vietnamese restaurant. In contrast to many other Vietnamese people, the restaurant character comes through here and is additionally emphasized by the beautiful interior. Xich Lo is therefore also a little more expensive than many other restaurants, but they often have a different concept. There are many vegetarian options that I like and that my girlfriend raves about. Knowing that it looks different in Vietnam, you still feel somehow transported there. It's worth trying!

Yesterday the first time I picked up food there. Super friendly and courteous staff! The food was extremely delicious and a real treat. I regret not having ordered there beforehand :)

A very nice restaurant with a delicious selection of dishes. The dishes are always visually appealing and of impeccable quality. The starters and desserts as well as the homemade drinks round off the offer. A good variety is available for vegetarians and vegans. Conditions are friendly and attentive. A good destination for a delicious meal!

Sometimes too long waiting times before someone even asked for a drink, etc. Otherwise everything was very tasty and nice.

I went there for my birthday, through a friend's recommendation. The food is fantastic !! Authentic, fresh and very fancy. The service was very friendly and courteous, we felt very comfortable! We will be back!! The drinks were so delicious! There was even a fruit dessert on the house for the birthday child. The food was not only delicious, it was also a magical experience! I was there for the first time today and I have to say that I am very enthusiastic. The food was very tasty and authentically arranged on bowls / baskets. Also quite cheap compared to other Vietnamese. Full marks and I love to come back soon!

Open, warm staff. Nicely decorated on the inside, I recommend the “Homemade Drinks”, - My personal favorite “Blue Honeydew”, the main courses and starters are delicious. I have had good experiences with vegetarian and vegan dishes. The dessert “fried bananas in a rice coating” is particularly good! Outstanding Vietnamese !!

Great, friendly service, attentive but not intrusive. The drinks and the food are very good - the portion of the salad looked rather small, but in combination with a main course the size is perfect.

New owner, new card. Our favorite dishes have disappeared, the new vegan dishes work like an emergency plan (including egg noodles ... The reference to this was dismissed with "some people like it that way" ?!). Left without ordering anything, but nobody was interested.

A really great shop and always worth a visit! We love the hot pot. The service is incredibly friendly and attentive. We look forward to the next visit!

Unfortunately, the change of ownership didn't do the restaurant any good: the staff are incredibly rude, almost all vegan dishes have been taken off the menu and the hint that one of the dishes declared as vegan is not vegan is laughed at and dismissed. Too bad. The Xich Lo was otherwise one of our favorite restaurants. Now we'll never come back.

First class food, very friendly service and reasonable prices. We were here today with 4 people and all of them very satisfied 😀. Both the starters and the main courses were extremely tasty and absolutely fresh. I can't say anything about the decor and atmosphere in the restaurant because we were sitting outside. The outside area is beautiful, but is also right on a busy street. We will definitely come back here, for sure. 👍

Great food! Incredibly tasty. Above all, a rich selection of vegetarian dishes. The service is extremely friendly. Very nice decor and relaxed atmosphere. The only downer is the tolerable waiting times for both food and drinks. Simply plan a little more time and then a great restaurant visit is guaranteed.

Nice place with elegant atmosphere. The service was perfect and the prices were reasonable. The Pho soup was good, the only very surprising thing was the sauses - by the small amount.

I have been here at least 50 times for lunch and I can say that the Pho Chai is by far the best vegetarian Dish I know in Hamburg. :-)

Le Xich Lo is a great low key restaurant with superb Vietnamese cuisine. I ate a very late lunch so the atmosphere was very quiet and it was perfect. The summer rolls with shrimps were simply perfect and the Bun Nem was marvelous. All the ingredients were obviously super fresh and I could hear the chef cutting all the vegetables on the spot. I was welcomed in a super nice way so in a few words, everything was perfect!

Authentic, yummy Vietnamese cuisine, good quality meat, no use of glutamate. Ambiance could be a little cozier though and it was a little chilly inside.

I was here a couple of weeks ago. The interior design is thoughtful and has a modern touch. Loved it! The food is excellent. I was even offered some extra chilli. The pricing is really reasonable. Will be here more often.
